How Hypnotherapy Helps Nail Biters

If you bite your nails, chances are that it started off as a nervous habit. Now, whenever you feel nervous, those fingertips seem to instantly enter your mouth. You may not even realise that you’re biting your nails at times. Not only is nail biting an unattractive and non-hygienic thing but it can be painful and emotionally distressing. Nails can be bitten almost to the quick and it can be painful and unsightly. Many people who have a bad nail biting habit are terribly embarrassed of the way their hands look --- but this doesn’t stop them from keeping up the habit.

Overcome Insomnia with Recordings

A lot of people who have insomnia, think they need to take sleeping pills to help them overcome it. While it’s true that sleeping pills can help, they may not be necessary. Very often, the fear of not sleeping is the biggest cause of insomnia.

There are many reasons for sleep issues but many of them can easily be dealt with by helping you change your thought patterns with respect to falling asleep. Many insomniacs have this disorder but exacerbate the condition because the very prospect of sleep becomes so stressful that they lower their chances of a restful and easy sleep because the anticipation of bedtime and the fear of another sleepless night works them into a frenzy.

Symptoms of Insomnia

A lot of people have problems falling asleep from time to time. Maybe you’ve had too much coffee or aren’t feeling well. Perhaps you’ve had a rotten day at work or your entire sleeping patterns have been “off” due to shift changes or lifestyle changes. Stress can put a big damper on your life as well because you may run yourself ragged all day long and then when you finally lay down to rest, insomnia happens because suddenly your mind is going a million miles per hour at the thought of what didn’t get done today, what needs to be done tomorrow, and so on.

But the occasional rough night isn’t what most people would classify as being insomnia or a sleep disorder. A Sleep disorder tends to be repetitive. Insomnia sufferers often have problems getting to sleep every night. Perhaps you have trouble falling asleep. Perhaps your problem is in staying asleep for the entire night. Maybe it’s even a combination of the two.

Self Help Insomnia Recordings

Recordings that use NLP therapy can help your brain and your body relax at bedtime instead of getting filled with anxiety.

What About One on One Help?

One on one help with a trained therapist and / or hypnotherapist might also be helpful. Perhaps beyond your bedtime routine, there are other issues that are making getting to sleep or staying asleep difficult. Uncovering the reasons behind the sleep disorder can help you change it.

JustBeWell and SelfHelpRecordings can help you to learn more about potential insomnia cures so that you can be able to fall asleep and stay asleep for a decent 8 hours without sleeping pills.

Overcome Fear of Needles

Various occasions happen in life where needles are necessary. The fear of needles, also known as trypanophobia, is something that impacts a lot of people. Some people avoid needles due to a mild fear and others feel terror at the very thought of having to have an injection.

Are you afraid of needles? Whether you need a vaccination, are a diabetic, are going for a dental procedure, or are having surgery, the fear of needles can be a big problem for you, if it’s severe. Some people act completely irrational at the idea of being injected and if that’s the case with you or someone you love, the fear of needles could get in the way of your health and well-being (both physically and emotionally). Doesn’t it make sense to tackle something that’s impacting your life in a negative way on a regular basis?

Needles – A Top Ten Phobia

It probably seems like being cautious about an injection with a needle is a healthy fear to you. What if someone has the wrong medicine dosage? What if you have a negative reaction after a jab? Very often, the fear of needles and injections stems from childhood and a fear of being out of control. Some trypanophobics might joke that at least they have no chance of becoming an intravenous junkie. But in reality, their fear of needles needs to be addressed.

Overcome Fear of Needles

Fear of Needles Video

Those who fear needles can feel paralysed with terror at the idea of being jabbed. It may stop them from seeking appropriate medical treatment, and this could be detrimental. Adults who aren’t able to overcome their fear of needles often pass it along to their children as well.

How NLP Can Help Needle Phobia

By utilising NLP (neuro-linguistic programming), you can change the way your brain reacts to needles. Very often, this type of fear is easy to pinpoint and easy enough to eradicate. By seeking help via self hypnosis recordings, or by sitting down with a trained hypnotherapist, you can quickly change the way you react to needles.

Visit Self Help Recordings to check out recordings that can help with various anxieties, fears, and phobias and / or the Just Be Well site for help with a needle phobia as well as to read testimonials from other former Trypanophobia sufferers.

Learning how to cure insomnia begins with your mind. Once a decision has been made to address problems with restless nights, the process can evolve out of the desire to overcome the sleepless condition. Various elements come together for successful recovery.

Benefits of Sleep

The first step in the process is recognizing how important sleep really is in your ability to function to the best of your abilities on a daily basis. There are five stages of sleep that help your mind and body process and recover from daily thoughts and activities. The proper amount of rest is crucial to your overall well being.

Sleeping is every bit as important as nutrition and water. Many may fail to recognize that sleep is necessary for life to rejuvenate, sustain and continue. Recognizing the importance of getting a full night’s rest that carries you through the five cycles of sleep is a critical first step that motivates you to find a cure for insomnia.

Curing Insomniac Conditions

After determining the importance of rest and its benefits to your well being, it is important to address possible physical problems that can lead to sleepless nights. This requires a visit to your physician’s surgery for an evaluation.

Some patients find that addressing underlying physical problems immediately improves their ability to sleep at night. In addition to medical treatment, hypnosis may be used as a complementary approach to ensure excellent results.

Hypnosis and Routine

While some find underlying medical conditions, others may find that their restlessness rests primarily on a psychological level. Creating a nightly routine that enables you to prepare your body for sleep can yield outstanding results. Hypnosis is an excellent approach for establishing healthy routines while helping you relax deeply and effectively.

Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy

Tina Taylor’s recording found here - Cure For Insomnia - is an excellent example of a hypnosis recording that offers everything necessary for restful sleep. Another excellent recording is Stop Insomnia by Duncan McColl, is available as well.

Stop Blushing: Cure For Excessive Blushing

To view the video directly on YouTube click here - Cure For Blushing

While it may seem impossible to stop blushing, it’s really not. The flush of colour that floods over your face, ears and neck happens automatically. However, you do have some control over the process—on a subconscious level. You can quit turning red after you work through the underlying reasons for the blush.

Self-Consciousness

Self-consciousness can be very problematic, especially when you worry in excess. Social interactions are challenging when you become anxious about a blush response. This leads to an inward pattern of thought.

When your thoughts turn inward, they begin to cut you off from your surroundings. You begin to feel anxious, nervous and unable to interact appropriately. The belief that you will blush leads to blushing.

Natural Blush Response

Blush responses are completely natural but they are akin to humans. Animals do not blush. This is because the response is a result of thinking patterns. Thoughts lead to emotions that have natural physical consequences.

You can readily see the consequences in your face. The blood flow increases to the neck, ears and face, turning your skin red. When you are self-conscious about the possibility of blushing, you become anxious. The anxiousness causes physical responses that lead you to blush

Stop Blushing

The blush response is a result of a combination of thoughts and emotions that wreak havoc on your system. The automatic nature of the redness makes it seem as if it is beyond the locus of your control. However, you can take control through your subconscious mind.

Focus and relaxation can coax your subconscious mind into having different automatic responses. Self-Hypnosis is a viable option that opens the subconscious to suggestion, allowing changes to take place effortlessly. You can stop blushing with support.

Hypnosis Guidance and Support

Reaching the subconscious is a viable option that can help you achieve great things in the realm of blush responses. An excellent self-hypnosis recording by Debbie Williams is Stop Blushing, offering her insight and natural talent. If you allow your subconscious mind to change its self-conscious patterns, you can stop blushing quickly and easily.

Seeking one-to-one guidance is an effective approach as well. If you prefer to work with a professional in person, you can find an outstanding NLP trainer at Just Be Well. There, you can find an outstanding collection of resources to help you along the way to controlling your blush response.

Anorexia Nervosa And Hypnosis

How to stop anorexia with self hypnosis

To view this directy on YouTube click here Cure For Anorexia

Of all of the problems we class as ‘eating disorders’ the one that tends to take the longest to sort out is anorexia nervosa. It can be done, though, and good self hypnosis recordings can really help people.

Anorexia statistics

Anorexia is an illness that is said to affect between 0.5% and 1% of Americans, and 90%-95% of these sufferers are adolescent girls and women. The disorder usually starts in early adolescence or mid adolescence, is one of the most common psychiatric problems for younger women and is one of the most dangerous of the mental health conditions in that it has one of the highest death rates.

The main symptoms of anorexia nervosa

These include a huge fear of gaining weight and a revulsion of body fat, especially the person’s own body-fat, a literal distortion of what the person looks like, sometimes a total denial that there is a weight problem and very often the girl or the woman has no menstruation.

What to look out for with anorexia nervosa – the warning signs

Warning signs include excessive weight loss, thinking about food and weight and calories and diets all the time, being ‘unable’ to eat certain types of food, talking about being overweight a lot, not admitting they are hungry and having elaborate rituals around food. The main thing, of course, is the total preoccupation with food and weight.

Anorexia nervosa heath problems

These include low blood pressure, slow heart rate and the eventual risk of heart failure, weakness, dehydration, osteoporosis, hair loss and the growth of downy hair over the body (to keep the body warm!)

How can self hypnosis recordings help with anorexia

Self hypnosis recordings literally train your mind, and they do this in a variety of ways. Repeated suggestions to be healthy, fit and lean and relaxed about food will have a cumulative effect. The issue is that they may take some time to have a beneficial effect and someone suffering from anorexia, due to the debilitating symptoms, tend to give up if they aren’t getting results. It becomes just another thing they tried and failed at.

Being persistent

So it is vital that the person gets into the routine of listening, after all, most of these recordings can be played every night at bedtime so the only effort involved is pressing the ‘play’ button on the CD player or MP3 player.

NLP and anorexia

Some recordings, such as Debbie Williams’ ‘Stop Anorexia’ also provide simple NLP mind-training exercises. Debbie suffered from an eating disorder herself when she was younger and really does understand how difficult it can be to overcome issues such as anorexia without the appropriate kind of help. As a practising NLP trainer and hypnotherapist her recordings are based both on personal experience and more than ten years clinical experience specialising in eating disorders.

Stop Anorexia Nervosa is also available from the UK.
